* 608 S. Millvale St SIDEWALL--Jennifer Howison, new work premiers at sidewall
sidewall is a public mural exhibition space hosted on the side wall of a private residence at 608 S. Millvale Ave. The space is dedicated to showing new local and national work every month, to increase opportunities for artists to publicly exhibit, as well as inspire verbal and visual dialogue around current issues. 5404 Chop, WOK & Talk! Cooking School--For 13 years Dorothy Tague has been teaching ethnic cooking classes for the general public, private parties and team building events. The POC Zine Distro will feature an array of youth-focused topics: personal memoirs, afro-futurist science fiction, queer and Trans experiences/identities, political and social commentary, yoga, herbal remedies for healing and wellness, youth expressions, intersectionality, feminism, poetry, comics, art, mental health, his/herstory and much more.
